Product Description
Clap sticks or music sticks are used in ceremony to create a sharp almost metallic sound
when they are struck together. Their sound is determined by thickness, length and age
of the wood and these two sets give a particularly sharp sound due to their hardness.
They were collected from Mornington Island in 1951 by Bert Wilson, a prawn trawler
captain and then passed on to his daughter Julie upon his death.
