Product Description
This woomera has beautifully incised ceremonial designs. The effect is obtained by
pressing a possum tooth into the freshly made item. It has then been finished in natural
ochre. The concave leaf shape is typical of the Central Desert area.
The hooks of spear throwers and the wooden barbs on spears are fashioned from the
wood of Acacia monticola, a much harder wood than Mulga.
