Product Description
The work is classical Yuelamu and the Lightning Dreaming is associated with a sacred
site known as Yinnapucka which is situated in the artist’s home country of Willowra.
A great storm passed through Willowra in the Dreamtime which is shown as wavy lines
and pairs of short strokes for the lightning bolts. These are flanked by longer wavy lines
that represent water.
The circles shown at the centre of the painting symbolize rock holes that were filled
during the great storm’s journey
